Contracts

Our contract will usually take the form of a detailed proposal describing our objectives, scope of work, fees, timelines, and deliverables. We will always try to fulfill our clients’ contractual requirements, however, there may be occasions when, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is appropriate to adjust our mutual expectations. In these cases, we will always work to reach an arrangement that is acceptable to our client. We understand that the quality of our service and the value of our support provide the only true basis for continuity.

Fees

Our fees are always competitive for what we provide, which is a high quality, personalized, and specialized service. As a rule, we do not generally offer arbitrary discounts. A reduction in price may only be enabled by reducing the scope or nature of the services to be delivered. That said, we will always propose solutions which we believe best address our client’s needs, budget, and timeline.

Payment

We will be as flexible as possible in the way that our services are charged, offering to work for either fixed project fees or under retainer as suits our client. As our work is entirely custom in nature, we will typically ask our client to pay a portion of the agreed fee prior to the commencement of work. We expect subsequent payments to be made as agreed, and our terms are generally net monthly in arrears.

Quality Assurance

In order to maintain a high quality of work, we conduct frequent reviews with clients throughout the duration of their projects. We also provide project status update reports, typically on a weekly or biweekly basis. This consultancy has been accredited under a number of quality assurance schemes. Confidentiality

When we engage with clients, we do so in a confidential manner. We will reveal neither the identity of our client, nor any proprietary information learned during the course of our relationship with a client, to any third party without having first received our client’s permission to do so.

Conflict of Interest

Due to the sensitive nature of our particular consultancy services, we will not knowingly provide a similar service to a direct competitor of one of our clients.

Intellectual Property and Moral Rights

We retain the moral rights to, and ownership of, all intellectual property that we create, unless otherwise agreed in advance with our client. In return we respect the moral and intellectual copyright vested in our client’s intellectual property.

Ethics

We always conduct business honestly and honorably, and we expect our clients, suppliers, and associates to do the same. Our processes, methodologies, and guidance take proper account of ethical considerations, and we strive to protect and enhance the moral position of all parties with whom we deal.

Duty of Care

Our actions and advice will always conform to relevant law. Furthermore, we believe that all businesses and organizations, including this consultancy, should avoid causing any adverse effect on the human rights of people in the organizations we deal with, the local and wider environments, and the well-being of society at large.
